I don’t understand all the negativity in the reviews, yes the pacing isn’t in Bourne territory, but it’s suspenseful, wonderfully acted and keeps your attention.
Fassbender is excellent again and unlike most spy dramas he’s actually quite believable
I haven’t seen the French original yet, so it would be a shame if I didn’t compare, as any negative comparisons might have put a damper on any enjoyment of it.
Please don’t let any negativity stop you from watching, it’s worth your time
Maybe the concerns about the pacing come from the binge culture, it’s probably slow if you want to watch a few episodes at once, but honestly I don’t see any problem with that.
